Greetings rafters and kayakers!
After a brief thunderstorm rolled through I finally made it to Big Smokey around 5:00 PM and stayed until 7:30 PM.

Wolf River Rafting – June 30, 2011

Update from last week~ the water was so high that most rasfting outfitters did not let anyone go over Big Smokey Falls.
Too dangerous, will be uploading footage shortly.
I would advise to call ahead for this weekend as well to see what runs are available.
They were going on lower class rapids from what I was told.
Plan on seeing me at Big Smokey if they are allowing to go, however, more rain in forecast for tomorrow.

Water levels look pretty spectacular on the Wolf River River so rafters and kayakers should be ready for some peak action this weekend!
I will be sitting on the big rock to the left of the falls Saturday June 25th, 2011.

Well it’s that time of year again when I will make my annual trek to Big Smokey Falls and get some photos of rafters heading over Big Smokey Falls on the Wolf River!
Should be fun and exciting as I am quite sure the water levels are up (check sidebar for levels).
Stop and say hello if so inclined, will be perched on the big rock to the left of the falls.
